Tweak Hidden Options is a way to modify various WordPress options that WordPress doesn't link to from the standard WordPress interface.<\/p>\n\n

All options are provided in safe select-down options, without any user-input data, so that it is perfectly safe for any user to use.<\/p>\n\n

The installation and use is very straightforward. You should:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload the folder tweak-hidden-options<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. From the 'Settings' menu, there should be a new option, called 'Tweak Hidden Options'<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Which options do you modify?<\/dt>\n

    Version 1.0 supports the following options:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • comment_order,<\/li>\n
    • gzipcompression,<\/li>\n
    • image_default_align,<\/li>\n
    • image_default_size,<\/li>\n
    • image_default_link_type.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Note: changing the image options has effect only on images uploaded afterwards.<\/p><\/dd>\n
