## Installation

For an automatic installation through WordPress:

 1. Go to the ‘Add New’ plugins screen in your WordPress admin area
 2. Search for ‘Social Sharing Buttons’
 3. Click ‘Install Now’ and activate the plugin

To upload the plugin through WordPress, instead of FTP:

 1. Go to the ‘Add New’ plugins screen in your WordPress admin area
 2. Upload the downloaded zip file and activate.

For a manual installation via FTP:

 1. Upload the social-share-buttons folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in your WordPress admin area

(*) Note: If the tool does not display after turning ON, please try to install Zotabox

## FAQ

### My changes are not displayed on my website

Browsers may cache Zotabox script to improve the website performance.

So to see your changes immediately, please select Refresh (ctrl F5) button on your
Zotabox setting page to refresh your website cache.

### I would like to add Instagram to my social buttons

Instagram only supports the ‘follow’ option, not sharing. Instagram also recently
disallowed the ‘follow slider’ option.

### I would like to change what images/products facebook shares to my visitors

Facebook automatically chooses what images etc to use when your visitors ‘share’
your website. You can ‘tell’ Facebook what images to share by using the following
code. You may need a developer to help you.

### What is the difference between ‘share’ and ‘follow’

On some social tools you can choose to allow your customers to ‘share’ your website
with their friends OR ‘follow’ your social account. For the ‘share’ option we do
NOT need your social account information.

Currently, our social mobile tool only allows the ‘share’ option. The ‘follow’ option
is available on our other social tools.

### My social buttons are not showing on mobile devices

Please use our social mobile bar to display social buttons on mobile devices.

I use it on couple of my sites ( paid version) and it’s very helpful in promoting
discounts or various member/user notifications as you can schedule it, show it only
to certain users (new or existing visitors, certain pages) and not have to worry
to turn it on and off when discount ends as it will do so by itself. I also use 
the Facebook messenger and social sharing icons widgets. I think it has a lot to
offer for different types of sites. If your site makes income, it’s worth the small
monthly cost for various features the plugin offers.
