These days, people want the functionality of tagging others as well as being tagged and receiving alerts when they are mentioned, similar to when they’re on social media. This plugin adds that functionality even if you don’t use BuddyPress. Kudos to the author who who helped me modify the logic as per my need in just 4 days! Highly recommend this over other similar plugins which either dont have the autocomplete feature or just dont send the email notifications. this does what the description suggests and then some!
